I’m headed out for my marathon day at GT.

On the last iteration of thinky.org, there was a feature (or maybe it was a bug), where people could enter enter a fill-in-the-blank question. The site had, in big text “Zach Pousman is thinky.org. Zach is a PhD student at Georgia Tech.” Then it just said “Zach is…” and users could type in whatever they wanted. These missives were anonymous and unsigned (no IP address or anything), and, other than the date, there was no identifying information whatsover, excepting the text itself. So this became a little weird game for me. Every month or so, I’d get a message from, well, somebody, and I’d get to laugh at them (or me, depending) and try to guess who said it, and why. Now I’ll just paste them all here, for you to join in on the fun. Some are mean, some nice, some funny, and others puzzling. I did remove all of the clearly spam entries (only 5 or so), and there were 4 blank messages. Otherwise, they’re all here, sorted from most recent to oldest. I’ve highlighted my favorites. Enjoy!

Apple iPhone

10Jan07

Man, am I wishing for an iPhone. Some haptic feedback (like in this patent) might really help the interface though… thumb typing without any feedback whatsoever is, um, hard. Still though, the total package is impressive.

Basking in the glow of everybody who made my birthday great. You know who you are.

Got a few macs? You need DropCopy. I grabbed it today and I’m never looking back.

Free campaign slogan for Democrats in 2006/2008: “We’ll listen to the evidence.” Simple. Easy. And it encompases the war (see here), the environment, and the economy.
